Let's fly away with Aviator Sun glasses!

Sunglasses is one of my favorite accessories. But who doesn't? It always makes us feels cooler :D.
Let's get back to the 80's glam rock style that follows what those pilots wore. The mirror glasses, the peculiar shape, and the fact that not everybody's style or not the shape of their faces always match with this aviator sunglasses, has to made me agree.

I had put on this aviator sunglasses on my friends faces one by one, and those with round shapes or chubby faces don't fit. Even those who has rebellious style, it's dissonant.
So i believe when it comes to sunglasses, it's still the matter of the shape of your faces no matter how cool the sunglasses are. But don't worry, there will always be the right ones for each of you out there. To make you cool and calm your eyes from the sun lights ;). Just let me fly away with this aviators first, i will come again to bring some more...;) cheers!!

Do you like colors? Or shocking colors? You can get this hip digital rubber watches called 'Too Late' for 12 Euro each. Some times i get bored with regular watches i wear, and this watches can console me to get out from those boring moments.

Surprisingly, i don't find it difficult to mix matched this very casual watch into my regular clothes, even with my formal dresses. I don't know, probably it's just me that is so eclectic with stuffs. But why not? ;)

They also released the 'glow in the dark' color rubbers. It used to be (or still) became a hip for European DJs...since it's glowing in dark, so they played in style over the events. Anyway, colors always help our day light up...i hope...;).

I always think that shawls are belongs to everyone's style. It's just depend on how and where we put it on us suitably. If most of them wear it for a culture or the weather reasons, i prefer to blend it into mine...
To what i wear daily, or just give my hats days off ;).

Within so many kind of shawls, why do i choose this one? Because the material is strongly pursuant enough without putting any hair clips to make it stay on the head.

So, how you gonna do yours? Feel free... Mr.Arafat won't mind, i believe :D.

I think that is the right way to describe what classic is, at least for me. There will always a time when we definitely wear something classic. And what i have here is classic enough for me to have...it called 'Classic Marylin' from Syushu shoes.
As you see, it is not something impossible for teen or our grandma to wear ;-). And for me, it is not too girlie and will elegantly bring out our look. But i believe, this kind won't ruin your personality. As long as you are able to wear high heels, you'll be save ;-).

I had a strange feeling at the first sight to this bag from Clementine. Usually big bags catch my eyes the most since i always bring lots of things in my bag everywhere i go. But there is something about this one i finally bought...and i keep figuring it out. Maybe it's the design or the pattern color that i never had before.
Surprisingly, it is not as small as i thought. It has quite big compartment to fit my stuffs inside! yeaaii!
Then there it is...like a nice sack in my hand, while in the same time enjoying it like a big deal. But still, please don't be afraid of using your imagination to combine this kind of bag (yes it seems like a complicated bag but it's not) with clothes you have in your drawer! You may try the other way around if you usually choose your bag after wearing your clothes...for this one: bring your bag to the hanging clothes and choose them for the bag ;-)
Trust me, You'll enjoy it! :-)

This is the second time i went to Brightspot market and found them again. Only this time they appeared with more new designs and i still couldn't resist the temptation of having them . Their colorful, neat, simple, tasteful designs and materials quite catch my heart. The golden buttons and the real leather also part of my considerations.

First time i saw them, my imagination fly around my head how i will mixed them with my clothes at home. For sure, it won't break my fashion identity ;-). It's just...fresh but warm. Simply like the owner who keep staying there with her welcome smile every time the girls came back and forth who probably thinking of buying her stuffs :-D. I don't know others but i do enjoying the bags i brought home from Moozee...coz i had it with very reasonable prize! ;-)

PotMeetsPop: Black Summer Edition 2010 x The S.I.G.I.T

On the second day of Brightspot Market at Plaza Indonesia 4th floor (last saturday, July 10th 2010), i came to their simply black and white booth wearing the short black coated denim skirt they gave on the first day they arrived in Jakarta. Then on the third days, i wore the pants (also black coated) that nicely fitted on me :-). I can see clearly how they shows their mature existence trough their quality stuffs, ideas and quite humble to their customers.Yes it is important for me to see personal attachments to customers besides qualified stuffs they sells. And always expect the same from other brand sellers ;-).

They sincerely treated whoever came to their booth with smile and warm talks about what they like, or simply ask what they 'feel' when those customers try to put on those black denims on their legs.
I am glad, they are still what they are before :-). I see growing up guys who learned much from year to year. So here's their BLACK SUMMER EDITION i have for women and kids!!

For the women skirt and pants, the material is stretch. And they play with zippers this time. And the only thing i think they forgot is lower the cup of the pants front pockets, since it will showed their lines when we wear it.
If you see the details (specially inside the four men black coated denim), they put different stories trough the sketches on the pocket inside which presents each quotes as signatures from personnel of The Sigit band they collaborated with.

All Buttons, stitches, and leather patch are nicely deep black. But the most i like...still the cutting. it's getting better and better. Good work guys! cheers!!

UNI QLO for Kalani & Kayangan

Our friend gave us these flannel t-shirts for my kids...the brand called UNI QLO. Since we don't have it yet here in Indonesia, i wanna share it the way they wear these cool flannel shirts ;-).
and of course, never forget to combine with their fav shoes...Kal wears full blue rubber converse shoes, and Kay wears his slip shoes from vans.
as we can see, they pretty enjoy them self with the out fit...:-) cheers boys!!!

New conferments from PMP Denim...wohoooo!!

This is gonna be my another new favorite one! They call it: Big Bud. The owner (Hen2) with his beautiful galfriend came by to my house last nite and specially gave me (a give? again? heehhehe) lots of their new winter season stuffs for women! weew...(thank u so much guys! :-)).
One of the stuff: the Big Bud, is my fav ;-). It's really comfortable, kinda new thing for girls who likes to explore new fashion for denim...really. Cool is the right word to describe it. If you likes urban outfits or sneaker lovers, this style will be the next to wear!

More detail about to wear this one are you better put it low down your hips, and wear an ankle high shoes. If you has more guts, you can wear highest boots or sneakers and let one of them shown full out side and let the other pair keep the denim inside (well, that's just an options of mine since i love boots deeply :-D). Since the denim has a slim medium tight on the lower legs, I don't find any problem to do it.

Then, this is next. The other denim they call it: Horse pant. Yes, because the style is came from the idea of the horse riders pants. At first, there's a glance on my head remembered my horsey boots (but don't get me wrong, i don't ride horse hehehhe). So i am ready now to finally wear that shoes with this awesome cut of the denim! yes!
But of course, don't let the style stuck onto one...if you have any kind of knee high boots, please wear it. You will appear like a Nazi soldier...:-D. Well why not? the style cut designed for wearing those kind of shoes anyway ;-)

Nice huh? of course, i won't put it here if they're not...hehehhe. Cheers!!

Udzir, a new good friend of ours from Singapore came to Jakarta few weeks ago and brought my husband and I this amazing black denim from Norwegia called: Anti Sweden. Let's not talk about why the project manager from this brand wants to gave us (again, it's a give! :-)) this awesome pairs of denims which they only made 666 pieces for every limited style (;-)) and only sold out side Asia, but let me share my contentment trough this black denim fits my legs...

I was told, the one that i had here actually the limited one, not on the stores yet, and the newest stuff they made for women...(Thank u Udzir and wife!! it is so sweet of u guys :-)).
It has low waist and really2 nice cut! (trying hard not to exaggerate it but it feels like the cut specially made for me..hahhahahha). The label on the back made from a real soft leather combine with a light yellow color on it and so are the pins.When i checked out inside the front pockets, i found a printed art of gothic sketches on a white material...cool. Then last but not least (yeah well.. since i notice details :-P), the stitches done very well neat!

Yes, i think i am in love with the denim. But other than those reasons, i love the slogan! It feels like it has a soul and deeper identity above all the business it self. Their idealism of the idea for making black color denim ONLY is really something...please your self checking their web site, then you'll get what i mean..i hope...:-D

So with my biggest gratitude to my good friends there and Anti Sweden, we wish you guys can reach the success...keep up the good work! Cheers!

I think this is the clearest picture i can get for my outfit that nite on the stage :-P. Yeaah, i know...just another 'simple' way i wore it yah? hehe. Only this time, i play with my make up. Well, it was fun since i put it on by my self. Yes, i always love make ups and the art of playing with it.

Anyway, i still stick to one rule if you wanna combine outrageous make up on your face with your costume: again..contradiction. Which one you expect people will notice first? your face or your clothes? make them notice both of course...but which one first? I choose them to notice my work on my face first, by not making too much effort on my costume ( nice! i still can be simple...am i being pushy to this simplicity or what? :-) ).

Here's next...:-). Simple...yeah, still. But this time i wore a stretch satin tank top with a black 'Dita Von Teese' pencil skirt! Combine with a black big thin bracelet and my favorite black leather heels...:-)

I don't know why but this simplicity matters fits me most of the times. But i am still waiting for the next performance to wear something 'not simple at all'...hehehe. Already had a picture in mind...;-)

It was simple... ;-) They said: wears pink is a must! Fine...I like combining pink color anyway :-). So i choose a simple pink tank top and mini short that i bought long time ago. With a not so over shiny belt and my favorite transparent black stocking from Wolford (quite love it because it has a thin black line in the back of my legs with a small ribbon print on the ankles...yeah, a weird way to call it sexy :-p).

Well, comfy outfit on the stage is a must for me. I need to feel good and feel so 'me' in the same time. That's how i choose my costumes. Yes, just like said before: Fashion is an identity. cheers!

I received this awesome black leather clutch called FAR this morning from my friend Cagi who designed and made bags collections of her which i always think they're pretty cool, prim, tasteful, and the most important thing is most of them fits my style :-).

It was about more than 6 months ago since I ordered this clutch bag, but probably both of us are quite busy with works and stuffs so it took a while till i can have it now in my hand :-).

But again, it's actually given. Yes, a gift. A precious gift, really-really appreciate it...and i can't wait to see her new designs and of course...will ask for a special discount this time..:-D

My first PotmeetsPop Denim.

When this nice grey denim arrived in my place, i never met the guys behind the brand. What i heard is only they're Indonesian young guys who started their small denim business from a house belongs to one of the owner. I even never heard about the brand before, since they don't have their own store anywhere. Then i started to browse and i found out how they sold out every single denims on the internet and few consignment stores. Nice...

But what so special abut this brand, i thought. Well, you never know until the pant meets your both legs. And yes, i love it. Feels close to my favorite Acne jeans...:-) Only they're not...;-).

Before i forgot, they put a nice blue bracelet (same color like the logo patch on the jeans) hanging on one of the belt loop. Nice gimmick guys ;-) and i always noticed details...:-D

So this is how the story goes. They specially shipped me the jeans right the day before my first interview about my debut album in the magazine. It's given for some reason...hehehe, probably they are just bunch of nice guys who likes to support local new singer who people doesn't even noticed yet :-P and I would love to give it a chance to let us start our first tiny step to the world trough this photo shoots together...me and the jeans.
Hopefully by bringing our consciousness that everything always starts from small and hard works, won't make us forget where we came and every dots of efforts always means something...cheers!

Hat, Jacket and Boots...a story, not history.

Secara fungsinya, topi secara personal telah banyak membantu dalam keseharian gue sejak berumur belasan tahun. Mulai dari menyelamatkan mood gue dari 'bad hair day' sampai membungkus rambut gue yang sudah susah2 gue cuci dari kotoran udara jalan kalau gue naik ojek...pun sampai sekarang, berada diatas motor masih sering menjadi ritual harian kalau diperlukan (sukurnya sekarang ngga perlu naik ojek lagi hehehe). Dan gue masih selalu menyimpan satu di dalam tas besar-besar gue itu saat gue pergi.

Kemudian sebagian topi-topi itu melebarkan sayapnya dari sekedar fungsi menjadi sebuah fashion buat gue. Kadang malah jadi ngga berfungsi lagi sebagai penyelamat rambut gue, tapi menjadi sebuah icon di badan gue. Sama seperti kecintaan gue terhadap Jacket dan Boots. Baik fungsi maupun upgrading nya sebagai sebuah imej. Bedanya, jaket lebih melindungi badan gue yang agak rentan oleh angin dan dingin, sementara Boots melindungi perjalanan gue mulai dari stasiun bis ke stasiun bis, motor, dan yang paling penting siaga kaki kalau-kalau ada penjahat atau orang jahil di jalan huehehhee. Iya, Jakarta memang panas, tapi di gue jaket memang ngga pernah melepaskan fungsinya itu (Maan, gue ngga mau mati gaya kepanasan!) dan Boots gue itu masih menjadi teman setia gue yang suka pergi sendirian kemana-mana...

Jadi kalau kemudian gue mengkoleksi pelan-pelan satu persatu, gue anggap sudah sewajarnya. Terutama ketika gue mulai menyadari bahwa budaya Indonesia memiliki variasi yang luar biasa dalam hal topi. Dan gue ngga berkeberatan untuk memadu madankannya dengan atribut gue sehari-hari. Aneh memang, tapi karna kita belum terbiasa melihatnya aja. Ini masalah selera sih, ngga ada rumusan pemakaian atau aturannya buat gue.

That's how i love and still wear them like a shirt. And they have stories, like i have mine...with them.
